Rose Quartz Facial Roller

Good morning everyone!

I got this facial roller for Christmas and have used it ever since. Some of you may remember the time my toddler made a comment and said my nose looks like a strawberry. So my goal was to start a skin care routine and be consistent for as long as I can.

Benefits of Rose Quartz Face Rolling

Rose quartz is said to be a healing stone. It is believed to remove emotional stress, purify energy, open the heart, as well as comfort and sooth. Rose quartz face rollers are said to improve blood circulation and overall skin tone, remove wrinkles and puffiness, reduce dark undereye circles, eliminate toxins and promote lymphatic drainage.

Benefits of a quartz roller:

  • Removes toxins

  • Drains lymph nodes

  • Relieves stress and tension

  • Depuffs skin

  • Helps with dark circles

  • Reduces inflammation

  • Rolls out wrinkles

  • Tones facial muscles

  • Can help with breakouts along the jawline

  • Soothes skin

  • Stimulates blood and circulation

  • Boosts collagen

  • Relieves sinus pressure

  • Stimulates acupuncture and reflex points

How To Use

Quartz rollers can be hand-warmed before use or popped in the fridge a few minutes prior to rolling for an extra cooling effect. Use cold to re-invigorate a sore and tired face.

Roll onto face and neck for about 2-3 minutes each night. Make sure to roll outwards and down. Imagine your nose as the center of your face and everything rolling away from your nose, towards your hairline and down your jawline and chin. This encourages proper lymphatic drainage. Keep the pressure moderate and comfortable, and use the big end for face and neck and the small end for the sides of the nose and underneath the eyes.

Since I’ve been using this roller, it has tremendously helped with improving blood circulation and overall skin tone, removed puffiness and reduced dark undereye circles. I also discovered a new use for this facial roller. For those who grind or clench their teeth at night (or even during the day) this is an added benefit in relieving jaw muscle soreness. I was amazed at how it helped with massaging my jaw muscles. (I’ve been so stressed lately.) Massaging helps release toxins and increase circulation which promotes healing. Since I’ve discovered this tool’s added usage, I’ve recommend the facial roller to all my dental clients who are experiencing jaw fatigue from excessive grinding.

On another note: if you experience headaches when you wake up, soreness around your neck and the back of your head, sore jaw muscles you may be clenching or grinding your teeth. People normally do this involuntarily at night and sometimes during the day due to stress. You should contact your dentist and have them assess and diagnosis if you are indeed grinding or clenching which can cause dental issues.

Rose Quartz vs Jade Face Rollers

Jade rollers also have the benefit of increased circulation and lymphatic drainage, which is your body’s natural way of detoxing. However, jade is also more known to have a brightening effect on the skin. Jade is also a softer stone than rose quartz, so the rose quartz roller will be more durable and last longer than a jade roller will. A jade roller also will warm on contact, while a rose quartz roller will stay cool much longer which gives more of the pore tightening benefits than jade rollers. Rose quartz rolling also helps your skin care products absorb more and penetrates your skin deeply.
