Proud mama moment here!
Just wanted to say how proud I am of this little guy. We started potty training Kendrik after he turned 2. He is now 3. He’s been wearing Huggies pull-ups for a good while and finally he chooses to poop in the toilet today. He was half potty trained over 6 months ago and pees in the toilet. He even pees like a Big Boy and does it standing up. BUT refuses to poop in the toilet. He would rather poop in his diaper and get his bum dirty then go to the potty. Even asks us to put on a diaper right before nap time JUST so he can poop. He did say he’s scared of alligators in the toilet though thanks to his 8 year old sister Kaelynn. Potty training boys seem so much harder than girls.
What a great achievement. Should we celebrate today and make it a big deal for his accomplishment? How should we celebrate?
