For you plant lovers! Here’s another trick you can use to water your plants. Plus its cheap, effective, and eco-friendly. Do you steam vegetables or boil them? I usually boil corn, and steam other vegetables. I save the left over water, let it cool down and then water my plants and garden with this liquid gold.
The trick is to use cooking water from pasta and vegetables to give your plants and garden extra nutrition. There is no need to give extra fertilizer as this is a natural fertilizer. The next time you boil pasta or vegetables, or steam some vegetables in your kitchen, don’t pour the water down the drain. Use it in your plants and garden keep your plants green and flourishing. You’re conserving water, saves some money, and your plants will love it so it’s a win win win.
Side note: my toddler couldn’t wait to take the corn before I took the shot.
